Again, our thanks to all of our customers who are patiently waiting in line at our two stands while prepare our corn for you to take home!
KOMOKA is incredibly busy, busier than in past years - a special thank you to those of you who wait in line while our Corn Girls prep the corn and veggies for you.
STRATHROY - what an incredible welcome from the community again this year - it's our pleasure to serve you. Note that we have expanded our product line this year to include some of the veggies from our Komoka farm (thank you Joc) as well as our own gorgeous tomatoes......we have a lot of different kinds this year to tickle your pallet......and juicy watermelons and cantaloupes from nearby Watermelons Plus.
- Cherry tomatoes - yellow (low acid) and red
- Lunch Box (one of Laura's favourites) - amazing to add to your shish-kabobs on the BBQ or just grabbing a handful to add to your lunchtime enjoyment
- Field tomatoes - several different types
- Heritage tomatoes - or what we have nicknamed the "Ugly" tomatoes - that old-fashioned tomato - ugly to look at, but with the most incredible taste!
- Roma tomatoes. We have some yellow ones......but mainly the reds! We would be happy to fill any orders you have for your tomato sauce making!
Peppers will also appearing in Strathroy as they ripen over the next few weeks.
